What kind of documents are necessary to obtain French certificate of registration for my car ?

If you need to register your car in France, you need to collect severals documents :

• Certificate of regsitration (both side)
• European certificate of conformity
• Taxe discharge called in French "Quitus fiscal"
• Proof of ownership or proof of sale
• Proof you are living in France, I mean proof or residence less than six months old in France (proof of residence has to be invoice of EDF or invoice of your mobile phone).
• Driving Licence
• ID
• Application Form Cerfa for a vehicle registration certificate
• Proof or "contrôle technique" (MOT) less than 6 months ago.
